Our mission at Zemelka Family Chiropractic Clinic is to get our patients to that state as quickly as possible. Sometimes, using chiropractic can take a little longer to relieve pain because our aim and intention is to treat the cause of the pain rather than just eliminating your symptoms. The underlying cause in many cases is the vertebral subluxation complex and it will be the primary focus of our care. A subluxation is what occurs when spinal bones have lost their normal motion or position as a result of stress, trauma or other imbalances. Your body has an innate ability to restore its health, as long as the nervous system is functioning effectively. At times, the body becomes unable to adapt to life's stressful moments. As a result your body can become restricted in its motion and the spine becomes misaligned, which in turn can cause an irritation of a spinal nerve.
